Carmarthenshire Children's Partnership
Carmarthenshire Children's Partnership wants children in Carmarthenshire to be safe, happy and healthy; to grow up to fully reach their potential and become confident, caring members of society who value diversity in all it's aspects.
The Partnership understands that services must be in place across Carmarthenshire to ensure that the health, education and social needs of children are met, however, specific services will also be necessary to target those in greatest need, thereby ensuring all children have the best possible start in life.
Membership of the Partnership brings together representation from the key statutory and voluntary agencies which provide services for children in Carmarthenshire. It covers the age range of 0-10 years and is a sub-group of the Children and Young People's Partnership (working closely with the Young People's Partnership which covers 11-25 years).
Within the Partnership, agencies are able to identify mutually agreed issues which they are able prioritise and understand how they can contribute to achieving life gains for children. This does not prevent individual agency developments but ensures that priorities are easily identified for funding initiatives and that there is a common energy driving projects forward.
